KAIONA BEACH PARK (EAST SHORE)

"Kaiona Beach Park lies between Waimanalo Beach Park and Makapuu Beach Park at the southern end of Waimanalo Bay, east (Windward) coast of Oahu in Hawaii. The beach park covers 4 acres of land, and has showers, restrooms and picnic areas. Kaiona means 'Attractive Sea' in Hawaiian, and the beach was so named for the clear blue waters found here in calm weather, making it like swimming in a pool. Directions: Kaiona Beach Park is on the 72 (Kalanianaole) Hwy about 11 miles south of Kaneohe and 14 miles east of Waikiki."
